I had wanted to stay here ever since I was a student in the area and for my fiftieth birthday, I finally had the opportunity. My partner and I have almost exclusively stayed at airbnbs but decided to try a hotel again and we were quite pleased. The room was neat, tidy, and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfy. Coffee in the lobby was quite good. We’ll probably pick this hotel over an Airbnb the next time we visit Northampton. The only (minor) issue we had was lack of access to bedside outlets to charge our phones. It’s an old hotel so it’s understandable.

The hotel was great for what we needed- the front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating, they were especially kind to move us when our first room didn’t fit our family well. There is good coffee downstairs in the lobby, the water pressure is great, the beds are comfortable. We couldn’t quite coordinate eating at the restaurant, we sat at the bar once, but the bartender wasn’t very engaging or particularly nice. The fitness room is quite well equipped, and there is also a rails to trails path very close to run, walk or bike on. The hotel is very accessible to downtown, which is quirky and eclectic. There seems to be a large number of out of home people, and a fairly active amount of drug use all throughout the downtown, but it doesn’t feel particularly unsafe. Overall, we really like this hotel and would stay again if we were to visit Northampton on another occasion.

We recently hosted a work conference at The Hotel Northampton and it was amazing!! The attendees enjoyed the hotel, the food and the service. I want to thank the staff and everyone who assisted with the conference. The staff service was the top notch. The care that they all put into serving this conference was heartwarming. All the attendees were in awe of the history of the hotel and the ambiance. I hope to return to the Hotel for a personal stay. Thank you for a great experience.

Wonderful historic hotel with great staff and service. Luscious towels and robe, very comfortable beds in lovely room. Delicious food. We had our daughter's wedding there and it was a fabulous venue.

Food was excellent! Waiters were great. Atmosphere was nice. This hotel has so much history behind it. Great to see the pictures and menus from days gone by.
